Valkyrie
Went down to rummage in the nest box and there - 3 eggs! First time ever, felt like I had discovered treasure. Each egg is different - Cheyenne lays round eggs with a slight egg shape, Sioux's are perfectly shaped and Apache lays American footballs - pointy both ends! Valkyrie
They're so cute nestled together aren't they? Occasionally Apache cracks hers on the one laid first - just have to scoff that one up! I think she lifts up the rear end too far or she can't wait to get out of the box because she has been in there long enough. Soon, Cordelia, soon. They will start to synchronise and then it'll be back to the odd ones again. Still waiting to see if we will ever get a double yolker - but then that is asking too much.
