MedusA
Had a quick scroll and can't see that anyone else has mentioned this (apologies if I'm wrong). I was listening to Radio 4 today and they had an item about the Top Ten Credit Crunch Books. It was mentioned that sales of "Keeping Pet Chickens" have rocketed recently. Bet Johannes is pleased! Barkisland
Hmmm, funny, I haven't noticed keeping chooks has helped me to beat the credit crunch - quite the opposite in fact, they have cost me a blimmin fortune!

Cooks
the only thing I have found is that some of the bits in it are not consistent with the advice given on the forum. Especially about introducing a new chicken. Other than that I have enjoyed the book and my boys are reading it next (thanks to Tasha)
Barkisland
Hehehe! The price of my happiness must be well into four figures by now (and worth every penny).
OwenLdn
Hey guys! Can anyone tell me what the type of chicken is in the photo on page 2 i think it is in the book- its the hen sitting next to the 2 chicks on the title page. I know she must be a Buff laced variety but what breed? It was this hen i fell in love with and always assumed she was a Wyandotte- however her comb looks wrong. What do you think she is? Thanks Owen
