I've had a couple of emails at work about this and it seems like a good idea.

I have heard of this idea some time ago. Its an excellent idea, but a lot of people still havent been made aware of it. Perhaps it needs one of those government advertising campaigns!!!

I have Mark on ICE with both numbers come to think of it I'm not sure the children have home as their ICE

This is a great idea and I tried to set it up on my old mobile phone but it wouldn't let me have two entries for the same number I wanted to have OH's number under his real name - thinking that anyone that knew me would know his name and automatically look for him rather than ICE - and I wanted to have his number under ICE so that emergency services, strangers etc would be able to contact him.....

 

...has anyone else had this problem? I haven't tried to do it on the phone I got for Christmas so perhaps it was just my old phone?

I've never heard of this but will tell my my family to put it in their phones.

I heard about doing this during the London bus/tube bombings. I made the kids put it into their phones. Hopefully its still in there. Think I will check. I have it on mine.

Its such a simple idea but very effective. I have it on mine, as does my ED. My hubby is ICEName but I also have his mobile number saved under his name so when I do a search it goes to it straight away.
