fluffyknickers Posted February 28, 2009 Share Posted February 28, 2009 The chickens had a lovely day today, as did we, the weather was gorgeous and they were out for most of the day having a dig around the grass and eating it and then when I put them back in the run they looked so sweet as they were rolling round, flapping having a dustbath in the aubiose and preening themselves - first time I have seen them do it. They then all say down and relaxed by the door - looked really happy. The fact that I have actually made them a dustbath that they arent using, with sand and compost I am choosing to ignore! When mine are really loving it, they almost make a purring noise and close their eyes with pleasure. V funny.
