Gin has just come into lay and is spending about half an hour in the nest box each time. poor Old Speckley hen doesn`t know what to do with herself (not yet laying0 so keeps going in and out of the Eglu. She might be asking "aren`t you done yet!? There are worms to be had! Come ON! "

Bless. I caught two of mine doing the same yesterday. Since Primrose has come into lay Pancake has been her best friend and yesterday she was wedged on top of Pancake in one of the nest boxes

I've noticed mine doing this, on one occasion Squeak must've been desperate and got in on top of Mash. When I looked back out of the window I noticed she'd missed the nest box completely and the egg was on the bars near the Eglu door. I went and rescued it before it got broken - Squeak was still sat on Mash and they both gave me a glare when I reached in past them to get the egg.

I quite often find Bumble in the nest box with both Snowy and Scurry keeping her company......poor Bumble never gets any peace!
