sti chick
went to put my girls away last night and found one all alone in the house again, well she made her way to the nesting box, so i shut the pop hole to keep others out for a while so she could have a bit of peace.....and she layed a softy. Incredibly she stayed in that position and much to my amazement she layed another (again a softy). She did the same last week except it was 1 softy 2 days running...not 2 softies in a matter of minutes!.
Snowy
Bless her, it is hard work for them isn't it?
4Clucks-minusOne
The same happened to Bella a couple of weeks ago. She stood very still, didn't even want any of her food. She laid two softies that evening and was then fine. A few days after, while she was out of the run she suddenly stopped scratching and had that far away look again....another softie that night. They really do look ill with it.
dancing cloud
My Daisy laid a softie yesterday, having spent all day looking dreadful and going to sleep in the flower beds instead of being her usual nosey self. She realy did look sorry for herself, poor thing . Thankfully this morning she looks fine and she was eating for England when I left, so hopefully she is fully well again
