Do your cube's legs touch the ground

Recommended Posts

I am still waiting for Omlet to come and sort it - but do you cube legs touch the ground? The run on mine is that much longer than the cube legs they do not touch the ground at all, but given the bit on the back corners is welded to the legs I cannot see how a cubes metal legs can ever touch the ground as this bit is longer than the legs - does anyone else have this problem?

I was going to answer this earlier, and then wondered if I didn't understand the question properly.

The legs support the Cube on the ground: that is what they are for. I don't understand what can be supporting the weight of your Cube, if it isn't the legs.

It sounds as though something isn't set up properly: I would be careful and avoid moving the Cube until it is sorted.

I shall try and photo. The wheels are fine and not engaged - the run is about 1-2 cm taller than the legs, so the cube is being fully supported by the run panels, hence the are bowing in under the cube weight. After it was put up it looked OK and within an hour of Omlet leaving I noticed all the run panels under the cube looking really distorted, so I got down on my hand & knees to investigate and realised I could see light underneath the whole length of leg on both side - but I cannot see how it could be adjusted, except with a spacer where the legs join the cube to make them longer.

To get some of the weight back on the legs whilst I wait a month for Omlet to come out to look at it I have stacked three thin bits of wood under the legs so they can take some of the weight - but you do not spend this money on a plastice house to have to adjusted it with lumps of wood!

Is your ground not level?

If the run panels are on ground higher than that inside the run, the legs will be up in the air.

Is it possible for you to post pictures?

You certainly need to get Omlet back. The present set-up may not be safe to use.
