Have already had a great time having a look round and reading people's posts - time to be brave and say hi! I'm a complete newbie. Fell in love with ducks when I was a kid at primary school and we hatched some duck eggs in an incubator. Finally (about 30 years later!) am about to take the plunge and get a few (2 or 3?) runner ducks to go in the garden. Am so excited - but also pretty awed about the responsibility I'm taking on. Probably sounds stupid but am so wanting to do well by them. Am planning to get some day old ducklings from a lovely lady in Derbyshire. They are due to hatch on Easter Saturday. I have nothing apart from a fab book on Ducks off Amazon! Love to hear from anyone with any advice to give about how to get ready for my new arrivals! Thanks...
