bigmommasally
Okay my friend at work has had a little disagreement with her 4 year old daughter about....................................................chickens having eyebrows! 4 year old insists chickens have eyebrows, but her mummy says they don't. And I have been asked to settle the disagreement! Now I'm taking my adjudication very seriously and I have looked very closely at my girls and to be honest I'm not sure. Alice my orp looks like she could have some very fine feathering above her eye that could be classed as an eyebrow. So can you all help settle the argument and vote on the poll for me. Thanks
Plum
That made me laugh. No idea I'll have a look tomorrow and paint some on if they don't. I can't remember seeing any lashes either.

Kirstine
Brahmas definitely have pronounced brows, which give them a serious look - so I would say yes.

So the answer appears to be no....although I reckon they ought to have eyebrows!

Chickvic
I'm going to check...no my girls do not have eyebrows. Although I liked the answer 'They keep them plucked'
Mazzarina
OK, I've voted yes because one of mine has different-coloured feathers above her eyes. She's a bluebelle and so is mainly grey, but above her eyes she has brown colouring (is she using eye shadow?). I know this because she's taken to jumping up next to me on the garden bench, putting her face right up close and staring intently at me. I think she's trying to psych me out, but I'm winning so far (largely because she tends to fall off the arm of the bench, which is plastic and slippery). You know you should get out more when you feel genuine pride at beating a chicken at a staring competition...
Chickvic
I know what you mean Mazzarina - I take great joy out of beating the girls to the patio doors
