im looking at this, i use the Linseed, and Brewers Yeast in there feed, and have been told the sea weed is good for them.

can they have the mint in this one, or am i best to buying seperatly with out the mint?

I have no idea if they are meant to have mint but my Gin, my Spalsh Orp has stripped my pot of mint clean so she must like it! I noticed that it had a few new shoots coming through yesterday........not anymore!

 

Perhaps she has realised that she honks of garlic and needs to be minty fresh ready for Cookie Monsters cuddles later today

My two stripped our mint last year and are pecking all the new shoots now - well until I moved it yesterday

I put an old pot of mint into the chooks run when I first got them as a free-range takeaway...they striped it of all creatures (the pot had got frosted & broken so woodlice etc had moved in!) but left the mint....nothing else appears to be sacred in our garden though.....!

My 2 wrecked the mint and completely ate a sedum that was about 3 feet wide. No chance of the sedum recovering. As soon as it peeps out of the ground its gone. Pity because the bees used to love it. Luckily I have some out of their reach.
