Kenilchick Posted April 11, 2009 Share Posted April 11, 2009 Well I had to get on here and boast/update my signature didn't I!! After nearly 2 months we have had our first 4 egg day. Yippee We've been away for a few days and a neighbour has been collecting 3 eggs each day. When I cleaned out the eglu on Thursday there were 2 softies, presumably from Fizz in the droppings tray. Today we got 3 eggs from Shirley, Beauty and Nugget as usual and another huge one (74g - Ouch ). I'm assuming this is from Fizz and furthermore it was a double yolker - what a show off! My daughter is ecstatic (as Fizz is her chicken) and already has the photo on her phone. Its such fun keeping chickens. The kids practically rugby tackle each other to collect the eggs each day.
