Chook n Boo Mum Posted April 12, 2009 Share Posted April 12, 2009 I am feeling very warm & fluffy inside...my 3 batties are happily snuggled into nestboxes in the WIR with the other Mob! Well, when I say "with the other Mob", I mean the Mob are in the as usual, and the batties are spread between the nest box (one girlie) and the (two girlies). I am not terribly bothered that they are all in nestboxes, they used to all pile into a heap in , so they must be very happy to have the extra space! We decided to take the plunge today and put the eglu into the WIR, then gave them all their tea in there as I have done for the past week or two......and shut the door on them! When we got back from shooting, they had all taken themselves off to bed like good girls. They can get out in the morning when they are ready & there is food in the grubs & water in the glugs, so hopefully everybody should have everything their little hearts' desire until I get up to pander to their every other whim & want! I will try & get some piccies posted to show how they have changed since we got them at the end of January. Peanut is very nearly fully feathered & the other two are so much better than they were, and such little characters too. Peanut has taken Tulip's place as my little shadow, which is so sweet, if a little dangerous when I'm wielding a shovel or fork in the garden!!! Chook n Boo Mum Posted April 12, 2009 Author Share Posted April 12, 2009 I've managed to borrow another digital camera after the accident with mine (see "have I killed my camera" on the Nesting Box!!!!!), but I have to get DS to transfer the pics from the camera onto his laptop, then he emails them to me......then I need to work out what to do with them!!
