Seagazer
Does anybody else do this? Its my ES's 18th Birthday on Monday but we're having the party on Saturday, at home, yes I know - stupid idea Possibly 50 + people there, I've just been out and bought the plastic plates, cutlery etc and thought because I'd managed to get them really cheaply, I would go and buy myself a top to wear to the party! It was far more than I would normally spend ( £65 from Monsoon) but I just couldn't help myself. In my mind I had it all justified. Of course now I'm home I'm thinking I'm going to have to take the price tag off before OH gets home Or take it back and buy a cheaper one...... Seagazer
Well I've taken a photo but it doesn't do it justice. In the bit around the neck there are little beads that sparkle a bit and its in a chiffony sort of material. I took about 5 in with me and made YS come to the changing rooms for his opinion. Trouble is he said 'fine' to all of them Can you tell I'm now worrying about it. I will get lots of wear out of it though.

chelsea
That top is gorgeous - dont take it back! I really love those tunic/kimono style tops, you could wear it dressed up or dressed down with jeans and crocs, lovely.

Seagazer
Thank you so much. I've decided to keep it - I need something to distract from the blinking 3 huge spots that have cropped up on my face I don't know, 45 and spottier than I was as a teenager! Anyway I have just stuck up about a hundred photos of my 'little' boy onto the walls in readiness for the party. His girlfriend is bringing some over of when they've been out - apparently there is one of him with his doc martins with fluroscent laces, jeans, pink legwarmers, pink tutu and pink sunglasses - I can't wait to see that one. jlo
Hope the party goes well. I love the top. If OH asks about it just remember the well used line, "Oh, that old thing - I have had had it for ages! "
Bassett
I love the top, it's beautiful - Monsoon's my favourite shop, I always head there for a special event. Good Luck for the party - you're very brave! Have Fun.
