Hen Watch Posted April 19, 2009 Share Posted April 19, 2009 My dad just ran into the kitchen with a massive worm in his hand shouting "look what Ginger just pooed out" . I feel slightly ill now .. Same happened to me. Never ever saw any worms in their poo in 10 months of chicken keeping but after a drop in egg production thought I would use Flubenvet just in case...... and saw dead worms in their poo once I'd started using it. I haven't seen any worms, but my girls have been laying less, and laying more soft shelled eggs, so I'm worming them for a week with flubenvet and giving them limestone flour. Trouble was Midnight promptly ate one At least you know the Flubenvet works though!! (quite fascinating!!))
