furryelephant Posted April 24, 2009 Share Posted April 24, 2009 .... give a thought to whether your neighbours can hear you when you're in the garden I often hear my neighbour laughing at me when I turn round and see about to disappear into the kitchen... "Kylie, Kylie KYLIE! Get out of the kitchen" Oddly, she doesn't find me telling Ginger off as funny when she decides that the best nesting place for a chicken is on my head (she sits on the back of the garden bench to keep me company when I'm reading). Kylie is so named because she had "showgirl" feathers (she's a black and white magpie) and Ginger because she's, well, ginger coloured (but also light on her feet like Ms Rogers!). My best friend would also add that Kylie is well named as she is certainly a diva and sqwawks like a good 'un - she thinks she's a superstar!! (They both are, but don't tell them I said so... they're spoilt enough as it is!!!)
