Gem_Seb
We have 2 indoor cats and now summer is coming is getting a bit stuffy in the house, they are fine in our garden and will only go out if we are with them! we arent keeping them as indoor cats out of choice they just wont go out without us there!! Thing is my partner opened the bedroom window a tiny bit then i had a call from the next door neighbour asking where i was as one of our cats was out on the window sill looking very worried about getting back in! Now this is the cat that wont go out in the garden on his own but is quite happy to scale the upstairs windowsills!! Anyway! My question is! does anyone know of anything so we can open the windows but there is a sort of blind that will stop them falling/jumping out?! A friend of mine has some really nice ones, like a mesh that you pull down while the window is open but they are really expensive! just wondering if anyone has used or knows anyone using some cheaper but good options!! Thanks!!
Redwing
We have two house cats and usually only open the window a bit so they can't get out I also have a peice of weldmesh that I peg over wide open windows with clothes pegs, not pretty but it does the job, you can get white plastic mesh from Homebase that would look better
Lewis
If you don't mind what it looks like, why don't you make a wooden frame the same to fit the window, and put that green pea netting on it. Or you could get a net or those wooden blinds, because a cat won't fit through the gaps (will it!) and it will still let the air in.
