The rubber mulch which was half price at Homebase in Abingdon is now 99p a bag! Don't know if this is the same in other parts of the country but may be worth checking out.

The barcode is 5060127410026. The colour is Earthtone. And it's discontinued stock.

 

As it's actually made not far from Abingdon in Lower Heyford, I'm wondering if it was some they were trying out.

Well I tried the other store that is a bit further away and they had some which were £3 a bag. Not as much as a bargain as your 99p but I thought that was good. As it was 10% day I managed to get them for £2.70 a bag.

 

Anyway I hope I bought enough now. My run is 2m x 4m and I bought a dozen bags....does anyone know how much you need per square metre?

Typical! Just been out and bought 8 bags in B&Q and £8 each!

 

However, set it up for the girls and they appear to like it!

Abingdon Homebase still has stock at 99p. I went back there this afternoon and they've moved it back outside. So I bought 3 more bags!

None of my local stores are selling it at a discount, Abingdon was showing 36 in stock so one of the staff in my local store phoned there to double check and they said it was all gone so I didn't make the journey
