Chook n Boo Mum
and thought "I need a bag in that!", and here it is.... It's not up to Snowy's exacting standards, but it's only for my use, so I'm not too worried !! It took a while to get all the sides etc cut out so the chicks were all standing upright, but they are!! I've made another of this shape of bag for DD in dusky pink cord and the same green as my lining, and I've got an almost finished one in shades of purple & cream which I'll post another time. I've also found another chook fabric... hee hee, what to do with that one I wonder!!! Sha x

Cooks
well you and snowy have inspired me to 'try' and make my own bag, I have had my sewing machine years now and used it a handful of times so I will try and make myself a bag for the summer I have asked a friend to help a little to get me started though as I am just not sewing minded..lolololol

It's done it That bag is in a book called "Sew many bags sew little time", I got DH to order it from Amazon for me so I can make bags etc for Christmas & birthday presents this year, to use up all the oddments of fabric dotted around the house and in keeping with the "buying nothing new" plan I have for the year. Chook n Boo Mum
Falcon Fabrics in Chichester, the bag on is £12.99 a metre & the other one was £9.99 a metre I think. Bizarrely, FF started off life as a company in a chicken shed!!! Aren't I a mine of useless info!! If you want some let me know & I'll tootle in & get some for you, pm me your details too. The first one is a very loose weave & the other I think is probably printed rather than woven! I've got to go in for some batting for my diddy quilt at some point anyway. These are the first chook fabrics I've found too, Plum has several on her mystery quilt which I'd like to find. Sha x
