Charlottechicken
Here they are I can't get nice little line up pics any more, they won't stay still for long! They are outside in a covered and draughtproof run all day now (for over 12 hours) , and come back in to the kitchen overnight, to sleep inside the cardboard brooder extension I set up, without the heat. They are all really well feathered, and no longer look chick like, just miniature chickens now. Today I went into the run to collect them and was climbed on by the two biggest, one actually flew and climbed up to my shoulder Actually they really love flying, I think I will have to net over the top of the open part of the run when they are big enough to go out there Excuse the pointing and the brickwork, it was my doing, not a professional It's all part of the new walk in run (still unfinished )

Egluntyne
The one on the left looks very much like a Sunday roast. They are very cute.
Charlottechicken
They are very cute. And looks are so deceiving They are Jurassic Park in the flesh, they "peep peep" in a cute little way, then attack en masse Try fighting off five little flying velociraptors when you have just woken up and are attempting to take them outside. Think Hitchcocks "the Birds" too, flitting around your head, perching on your shoulders and getting tangled in your hair. Don't look them in the eye, they'll only peck you They are evil.......well....almost

Charlottechicken
That's a cute chick! What type are they? They are Heinz 57 I bought half a dozen pot luck eggs off Ebay for 99p and five hatched, I was surprised to say the least. They are the mongrel children of pure bred parents, although I suspect the little grey one is pure Araucana, the two black/white ones definately have some Marans in them, goodness knows what the biggest two are, they could have a bit of Welsummer and Marans I suppose. The darkest one has very feathery legs, and the softest feathers
