Cinnamon
Just had a check of my Aloes & they have grown a huge amount since I go them, but are now looking a bit brown & the spikes are a bit squishy. I don't think I have over watered them - any ideas???
Lewis
Have they had enough sun? One in the study went like that - repotted it and put it on the bathroom windowsill and its fine now

ubereglu
Sounds like they've got a bit too cold Sarah. This has happened to a few of the ones we re potted in the autumn as we forgot how cold the sun lounge got! They're now perking up again though since it's been warmer and are growing back from the middle. I'd suggest you put it indoors for a bit, until the evenings are a bit warmer and eventually the browny leaves will either fall off or recover. Cinnamon
Thanks - I knew I should have brought them in Will give them a couple of weeks in the house then - more room for my seeds in the porch that way anyhow
cathybc
I killed mine - by drowning I think. Or perhaps hypothermia over this freezing winter as it is in the conservatory which has no heating. But I have had it a few years so it survived a while....
