FoxFighters Posted May 16, 2009 Share Posted May 16, 2009 As you may have seen, I posted a comment previous ly called "Double Yolker!!!" which told you about the two double yolkers that my , Pepper laid. Well, yesterday, there was yet again another miracle egg. Mum told me to collect the egg just after we had both seen Ginger getting off the nesting box. I opened the egg port and picked up a massive, slightly elongated, pale brown . Anywhay, we both KNEW it had to be a double yolker, so when Mum went to work, I took it round to my Nan's to have for breakfast the following morning. In the evening we cracked it, and as I thought it was our third double yolker. I had it scrambled for brekky this morning- mmm..... Well, I came home this morning, and there in the egg port was another double yolker from !!! We plan to have it soft boiled!!! Amazing, eh!!!!! Chook n Boo Mum Posted May 21, 2009 Share Posted May 21, 2009 I'd have thought telling everyone on here would have put a stop to all this double yolker business days ago.........rather like announcing rather smugly that DD has never cut her hair....she did soon after though!....never put anything up her nose........so how did the 2 peas which were removed under general anaesthetic get there.....and also managed to swallow a glass nugget shortly after the pea removal, and was traumatised that she'd have to go back to hospital & have that removed too! And how many people have said "oh yes junior has slept through the night for weeks now" only for the little blighter to turn into a bat & want to be awake all night ?!
