jackiepoppies
Computer games like Tetra or Bookworm? If so, what are your favourites, what do you recommend for when the rain is tipping down and you just want a little mental activity When I was at work people used to email me some which were quite good (and of course that was pre forum days ) Jx
Valkyrie
Spider solitaire or mahjong/mahjong titans, until it gets too easy. I racked up a vast fortune on ordinary solitaire, thought I'd go for the £100,000 and somebody in this house wiped it to zero. Just as well, it was a bit of an addiction. I loved rollercoaster tycoon - made a lot of the little people throw up - but that was on a CD rom. Tetris I used to play a long time ago - but only to compete with OH. I accidentally found I could cheat at minesweeper by opening up lots of files - it slowed the time down and I had unbeatable time records. It was wonderful watching OH trying to top it. I did let on - eventually.
craftyhunnypie
Oooo yes Mahjong Quest or Sims2, but on PC or Nintendo DS. I've finished Proffessor Layton Curious Village. That was great. - don't play any online games. Emma.x
Tessa the Duchess
I play Bookworm online sometimes. I have a Mac game called Alchemy which I play when I'm really bored. Join Facebook Jackie they have some great games on the site. If you are into Scrabble type games I would be happy to play you Tessa

Space Chick
My sister loves Sporcle, which is loads of random little quizzes. Lots of some with US references, but if you are UK based there are still loads to choose from. I played it with her for a bit yesterday and it was strangely addictive.
