dancing cloud
How exciting! Bet you can hardly wait for the weekend. Four very lucky girls would definitely be if they knew where they'd be this time next week

Scotty
Brilliant, I love hearing about people that save the poor battery hens! - they arrive in such a sorry state but quickly progress into healthy confident hens. Its great to see - well done you!!!
*mummy_hen*
Ex-batts are the best!! I have had my girls a year on saturday and they make us smile everyday. They are so amazing the way they learn 'normal' chicken things so quickly. Make sure they have plenty of water at first as my girls didnt understand they could drink freely at first. Make sure you post pics of your new girls. X

Scotty
I remember the first time, mine stood on grass, and then caught a worm... and then ran at quite a speed flapping their wings across the garden - you could just read their minds... "Yahooooooooo!!!!!!!" you're right they are amazing.
tara
Im confused now because debbie comfirmed 4.30 with me on saturday but ive had an email from jo saying l can collect on saturday at 7.30 which l wont be doing as its an hour drive and my 2 year old needs to go to bed at a proper time.It was comfirmed with me so im feeling quite cross now.Im going to email debbie and ask whats going on
Scotty
Criceky that's late... by the time you get them back home and set up they'll be wanting to go to bed. Surely the email is incorrect. I'd be annoyed at that also!
tara
Well l emailed debbie and showed her the email l got from jo and she said that it must have been sent from the main rescue centre. So l will still be picking them up on saturdau there is no way l could of made 7.30 with 2 young children with an hours drive
