redhotchick
My TV has broken again. I think it's time for a new one. I phoned the TV repair man (the one I always phone ) It seems they have gone out of business. So I am thinking of a Goodman from Currys for £300. It's 32". The next cheapest that I have seen is £500. Any advice Omleteers?
Happy chickens!
Um - you can watch tv on the computer and check out omlet at the same time....

Patricia W
I asked - it was about £800 , but he says an LG 6000 is good too and only about £400 for 32". Go on google and type in Best price - for size. He says Argos quite good but shop around. ( he's getting enthusiastic now - dangerous - I'll have to listen all night now.. )

Happy chickens!
Hi redhotchick Sorry I wasn't helping; how about this? Panasonic continues to produce exceptional TVs – and this sublime 32-inch HD-ready 1080p LCD is no exception. Packed with useful features, it’s easy to use and delivers just about the best picture quality money can buy. This is as good as flat-panel TVs get at present. (thanks to which.co.uk) This is the panasonic viera tx-32LZD80 and gets top reviews from which and costs about £463. We've got a different panasonic, and have been very happy with it. Well, I won't forgot your birthday now!! I know Ygerna joined same time as me, almost exactly - she was very addicted for a while, but haven't seen her much lately, hope she's ok. She's maybe like me at this time of year, outside usually, but it's raining chickens and eggs here!!
stoice
I've never had a reliable goodmans product. Stereo, tv, video. All a bit shoddy in my opinion. I'd stay away from it! Alba isn't great either. LG is technically a Sony so if you can get one of those you should do well. Panasonic is good too. Do you have a Bennetts store near you? they are usually quite cheap and have good sales on. Or do you have tesco vouchers you could double up and redeem from tesco direct (never used them before so i don't know what their customer service is like)

You may find Ygerna in the craft section sometimes! We all go through phases when we have more or less forum time available! Speaking of which! goodnight! Leicester_H
Hmm, another mention for Panasonic.... And another - we bought 2 (26" & 32") a couple of years ago - very pleased with both. We (surprisingly for us) got them from Dixons/Curry's (??) on-line as they were almost the cheapest and allowed us to book a morning or afternoon delivery slot (so we didn't waste a whole day waiting in). Their delivery was VERY efficient. H
