How much pasta should I feed my chickens for their supper time treat ?

I noticed that if I give it to them about 10 mins before they go to bed they don't make so much noise early in the morning , but I don't know how much they should have.

I'd say a handful between them would be adequate.

Is is ok to give them that every night?

I'd say that sounds alright if its not too much.

However, I do think a bit of variety might be nice, you could try different snacks such as grapes etc.

yeah other snacks sound good but how quick do they digest them?

i thought with the pasta it would keep them sleeepier for longer.

could they have the grapes with the pasta?

I'd give them a handful or so and yes give them the grapes with it. Have you tried spaghetti yet, that's very funny, they seem to think it's huge worms

I was worried they might choke on long bits so I chopped it with scissors.

I have given them the twisty pasta and they go mad for that.

Can you leave the spaghetti in one long strand ?

They love strands of spaghetti and one runs round with it and the others in hot pursuit even though there is some in a bowl. The nuts.

 

Thanks for the tip I'll try giving them a bit late and see if it keeps the beasts a bit quieter. I get the wake up call at 10 to 6 at the moment.
