How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

I am looking at the Sony E Book and am very interested but needed some reviews before i buy?

I have one and I love mine.

 

It came with a CD of classics which I am gradually working my way through, and I have bought a few others from the online store. It is a major advantage when travelling as I would otherwise have a case full of books with me!

 

The only thing I would recommend is buying a mains charging cable (not supplied as standard but not expensive) - otherwise you can only charge it through a computer which is a bit inconvenient.

 

 

My only gripe is that it's not waterproof so not suitable for reading in the bath!

I do have one, and I love it BUT it's not the easiest thing in the world to get books for. If I were you, I'd spend a bit of time looking at ebook stores and seeing what's available for the ereader - I know it's easier for people with the current ereader than it is for me and my imported original version, which can't resize PDFs for example. Ebooks are phenomenally cheap in america, but it can be tricky to buy them in the right format. The Connect ebookstore in the USA is brilliant and cheap, but you can't set up an account there unless you have an american credit card, which isn't much use. The waterstones bookstore isn't really any cheaper than buying the real thing from what I can see, and has a desperately unhelpful interface for browsing the books. I get a lot of my books from a publisher in america, but as they specialise in science fiction (which is my favroutest) it might not be great for everyone else.

 

 

Now, I don't like the look of the Kindle, or the size of the screen, but I did see a chap on the bus with one this morning and the latest version looks lovely and sleek, even if the screen is a bit small.

How long do the batteries last?

 

At least with a "proper" book the batteries won't run out half way through your plane journey (I almost never watch the films on a plane, I just read and listen to my iPod).

 

 

 

However, I have always thought that there wasn't a lot of e-Books of the type I like available... because I read mostly science fiction.

 

So if I were to get one I wuld be very interested in Aunty e's source.

Hi Cathy has one of those, and I must say they really are good.

 

The screen isn't backlit and is easy on the eyes the batteries seem to last a decent length of time and of course you can easily fit hundreds of books in your suitcase.

 

I don't think Cathy would let me use it by the pool, most of my paperbacks never make it back from hollybobs

 

Not sure how long the batteries last but I think it is measured in days rather than minutes. I will find out and let you know.

Me too! I have been thinking of getting an e-reader too, to keep me going on our 3-week holiday to Sweden each summer. I usually take 6 or more books and read them at least twice each, but they do really weigh down my luggage and to keep me happy I really need about 20 books I reckon!! And Sci Fi is my favourite.

Oh alright then, more sci fi fans than I expected! The battery life is very very good, days rather than minutes, unless you do a lot of scrolling through menus and reorganising things, which tends to munch the battery, as does using the MP3 player.

 

i get most of my ebooks from Baen Books - http://www.baen.com/

 

They have a free library for you to try out books from series and other such stuff, and you can pay for your books by paypal. They also do bundled ebooks, which makes it even cheaper. My strongest recommendation would be for the Honor Harrington books by David Weber. LOVE.

Thanks everyone i am now the proud owner of a beautiful red reader already downloaded my first book and reading away!

I looked into an american store but the one i found, though accepting paypal needed a credit card on it which we don't have anymore.

Waterstones were not as bad as i expecting after all the bad reviews i have seen, very surprised amazon don't do them yet!
