Our Sky was turned off today after months notice period, I won't miss it much. TV is largely rubbish at the moment, only watch Ashes To Ashes and Grand Designs.

Loved it as usual, BUT did anyone else get annoyed at the really long adverts during the show ?

Each ad break seemed to last a good 8 mins - ridiculous!

British TV is getting more and more American in its styling (even British shows). There are more and more adverts, and for longer, and they've even started doing scroll banners at the bottom of shows telling you about other shows that are coming soon!

 

Thats what the Radio times is for........ (she goes off muttering something about the world going mad......)
