theherd123
I voted Some people are still dying today to get the right to vote. You have a voice so use it.

littleleicesterfox
There were only three candidates in our ward, the lib dem, a tory called Chuck Berry (I kid you not!) and, for the green party, Sophy Fearnley-Whittingstall. She may have stood more of a chance with me if her campaign literature said: 'like my brother, TV's Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall...' and I though 'who else is it going to be? If you're going to trade on your famous connections at least don't treat us like morons - I'm sure 'Like my brother, Hugh' would have been adequate!' I think she'd have lost my vote for the name-dropping! Surely the policies should be more important! Agreed! I have just realised that having a Fearnley-Whittingstall as a local council candidate makes us sound very posh - I hasten to assure people that's not actually the case! She lives about 1/2 mile away in a remote farmhouse and has stood for council because she was annoyed at the council trying to site some travellers about halfway in between our houses

Charlottechicken
I voted, I have never missed a vote yet I really think there should always be a "none of the above" box at the bottom of the voting paper
