*mummy_hen* Posted June 5, 2009 Share Posted June 5, 2009 We have just found out that following the death of two of our babies yesterday, another of our chickens was put to sleep today. She too had cancer which we suspect is caused by a viral infection. It means we have only 1 chicken left and she is very nervous and doesn't understand why her sisters aren't there. We cannot introduce any other chickens to her as she may infect them and they will ultimately suffer the same fate. Please Please does anyone know of any animals that will keep a chicken company?? (this virus only affects chickens).
