BeckyBoo
........well, of yesterday really. Managed to get a brand spanking new, never been thumbed through or had its pages flicked copy of the River Cottage Year book from the small ads at work. For the princely sum of £2!! Am about to go and pick spinach from the garden to have creamed spinach for tea a la River Cottage Recipe Considering my car cost me £146 to get through the MOT today I could do with a bargain! I love bargains, anyone else had any good ones recently? BeckyBoo

Charlottechicken
Ooh a bargain book, how nice I find book bargains are always satisfying, don't know why. I've been free shopping again today. This time in M&S. I had just over a tenner left from a £50 voucher which came with my car insurance last October. I needed a new frying pan and was surprised to see they do a nice one for a fiver. I also picked up a griddle for the same price (have always quite fancied one), but they are still knocking the VAT off, so I have £1.06 left on my voucher

craftyhunnypie
I bought a lovely white ceramic cream tea tray yesterday. It came with little cream jug & bowl. I could use it for strawberries, with cream in the jug & chocolate sauce in the bowl. Mmmmm. It was £2 from a charity shop. I'm sure I've seen similar in Lakeland.
