4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Mini me the little dark stripe one is 10 days old today - the other two are 8 days old.

Cute eh? I've no idea what colours they are going to turn out - not sure whose eggs the light ones came out of.

The dark stripe one is definitely from Marlene's own egg - so has some GL wyandotte in it. All their fathers are Partridge Cochin. 1st picture left to right..Dizzy, Mini me & Rascal.

 

 

 

Please excuse the messy floor - we'd just gone in to clean them.

Lovely chicks. I shouldn't worry about the mess, the chicks we looked after for friends during half-term week seemed to produce vast amounts for their tiny size

Well we have just cleaned & powdered & Mummy Marlene has re - arranged the lovely tidy house to make a huge nest in the corner.

Dhe's now settled down - with heads peeping from under her wings. They are growing so quickly & I can't wait to see how they turn out. Marlene seems to know that Mini me was from her own egg - just that little bit more closer they are. Plus it was the first to hatch. I've a soft spot for mini me too. I think there is some partridge markings going on there - but Mini me is a lot darker as a chick, than its daddy ever was. Its daddy did not have such a dark stripe. I love the little chick tails!

I know what you mean, they just don't stop scoffing do they? I've refilled my chicks feeder three times already today and I'm about to do it again so they've got plenty for their breakfast!

I know what you mean, Mini me has some lovely colouring going on round the eyes. I'm really excited about what colours they are all going to turn out. My sister had a pure white chick, turn out to be black!
