I thought I might buy some Hemcore/Aubiose to go on top - is that ok mixing the two? Also the run is not covered (has a bit of the eglu run for rain cover) - is Hemcore/Aubiose ok if it gets wet? theherd123 Posted October 27, 2006 Share Posted October 27, 2006 I have some hemcore and the instructions for using it with horses say it should be watered in first so i presume it will be ok it it gets rained on I have yet to use it for chickens as im getting my girls next week. I'm really pleased with it - it doesn't seem so exhausting putting it all down and this evening I went in the run to pick up the poos and I could only find two - usually I find loads with the woodchips!
