Jen&Rog
... gooseberries! It's been a constant battle against the caterpillars ever since I got my little fruit bush, but the almost daily inspections have paid off this year. And I thought gooseberries would be easy to grow!!

chickencam
We used some of ours in an ice cream flavoured with elderflowers We have lost all of the leaves on our Jostaberry which is a gooseberry blackcurrant cross and our redcurrant bushes in the garden at home to the sawfly , but the ones at the allotment have never been touched and we have 3 huge gooseberry bushes there. We thought that we had squashed all the caterpillars earlier in the year but we turned our backs and there has obviously been a second coming
