Valkyrie
PC but a laptop would be handy then I wouldn't have to fight to get on here. Do you curl up in a chair when using the computer or sit bolt upright?
Chickvic
Bolt upright, makes my back ache otherwise. Not that I spend too much time on here you understand How many remotes do you have in your house?

Fizzle Knit
One of them was Bjorn Borg. Was only thinking the other day how I used to love Wimbledon - would watch all the matches andbe really up on it all. Other than it's on now (I think!) I have no knowlege of what's going on. How many countries (excluding those in UK) have you visited?
Valkyrie
France, Jersey, Spain, Southern Ireland, Canada and USA - more than I thought once I started writing them down. Loved Canada, would like to live there - except they have very long winters, but then again, they do actually have a summer unlike here which can be hit and miss. I would love to go to New Zealand, visit a family friend before he gets too old (he has promised to take us water skiing!!!!) Which country would you most love to visit that you haven't been to yet? Fizzle Knit
Australia - since my nephew moved there, and New Zealand. I too loved Canada when I went there. Keeping on topic, if you had to emigrate, where would you go to?
Chickvic
New Zealand - I love the scenery. It just looks so fabulous. Which country would you NOT visit?
Couperwife
I think I would be scared to go to Iran its sad really, I bet its a beautiful country, but with all the trouble going on, I would not want to go there if you had to spend a million pound (but not on yourself) what would you spend it on (cannot be all charity) cathy x
Valkyrie
I would buy a smallholding with a granny annexe for mum. DS can sleep in the barn! But the rest I would use to make it nice - nice furnishings, outbuildings sound, fences secure and the rest I would save just in case. Would you downsize to the next house, or would you think of future grandchildren staying, so find a place with more rooms (if money were no object)? Fizzle Knit
Well as it can't be for charity, I'd use it to buy up launderettes a nd turn them into amazing places to while away the time while your weashing is doing - nice furnishings, nice decor, pleasant music in the background and aw reasonably priced selection of good quality drinks and snacks. This has been an idle dream since I was a student, saw My Beautiful Launderette and had to spend too much of my time in coin-op laundrys (in fact, I thionk I spent most of and either side of my 20's using them) What wasd the last non-food item you bought? Chickvic
Gammon, mash, roasties, carrots, peas, cauliflower and green beans (mixed bag of veg) and parsley saucce What time do you get up?
Valkyrie
Recently 4.30 due to paranoia with regard to chickens making a noise too early, but just lately they've stopped, so for the past couple of days 7 and 7.30. Not too good when I have been going to bed really late and I find I do better with only 3 hours sleep????!!! So bed time is usually around 11 to 12 (unless everyone is on another thread and I lose track of time having fun) for me. That way OH gets his snoring time in. What time do you usually turn in?
