4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

We have just ordered a Cube with a 1M extension. Reading various posts, I note that reference is made to a large door. Is this now standard or is it provided at additional cost? I cannot find it as an option in the shop nor was it mentioned when I spoke to the nice people at Omlet. Sorry to be a pain but this is all new to us. Many thanks.

I don't have a cube but I believe that it is standard now. Welcome to the forum, by the way . How many chickens are you planning on?

The larger door is standard now. I asked on Monday when I ordered the purple cube. Although I haven't ordered any runs, I ordered a new door section.

I bought a cube with 1m extension 2 weeks ago and yes it does have a large door. I am not a small person (!) and I can easily climb in when needed.

 

Reading older posts I think this is a great improvement - I would never have fitted thru the old size door

Thanks to one and all. We have 3 chicks on order but we are now wondering whether we have done the right thing. It looks to be a bigger commitment that we first envisaged!!!

don't panic Cagney - they are surprisingly easy to look after, a lot easier than cats or dogs. Don't forget that most of the posts on here are from people with problems or questions - those who are quietly enjoying their chickens in the garden often don't bother to post about it!

 

I guarantee you won't regret getting chickens.

You wont regret it, I am so glad that I decided to keep my chooks. They are so easy to keep, and such fun to watch. Not forgetting the added benefit of the yummy eggs!!!

Thanks for the re-assurance. Omlet tell me that large doors are now standard on the Cube. The only problem now is that our grown-up children are threatening to call in the men with the white coats! They think that we have completely lost the plot.
