jlo
OH has been invited on some corporate shindig up to Gleneagles this week. I am not invited so quite Anyhow, he has to take a gift, priced at about £40. He doesn't know if this will go to a man or a woman. They have given him a theme of "changes!" and we were pondering what he should take last night. My only unimaginative suggestion was to take a bottle of champagne and say that it represents the change from the fruit to the bubbly. I am sure that you wonderful lot will have much better suggestions than this!!???.... please!!

Alis girls
Or a vine suitable for English climate - grapes to wine. Or exotic butterflies - caterpillar - pupa- to butterfly. Whoever thinks up these ideas obviously never has to buy anything - let us know what you decide on.
Chucky Mama
A World Vision Charity Gift http://www.musthavegifts.org/WorldVision/GiftCertificateSelection/GiftCertificateList.aspx?MinPrice=25&MaxPrice=50 There is one which is 5 Chickens and a Coop for £39 for a family in Sudan "Women in Ezo County Sudan will use by-products from grinding grain to feed these chickens. Providing a safe, sturdy coop for the birds means their egg production can be maximised, feeding families and providing excess produce to be sold on for community income". jlo
He went for the Royal Mint collection in the end and popped to the Post Office for it. He liked the idea of the World Vision stuff but doesn' know the people who will be there so didn't know how that would be taken. I have to say that the coins do look very swish. Being OH he only told me about it on Sunday evening and he is off tomorrow morning! Thanks again all.
