I have a tarpaulin question. I have seen some on ebay that have some sort of silver metalic reflective material one side and green the other. Could anyone tell me what the silver side is for please

Presumably to reflect sunlight from whateer you're covering. Or maybe just to look pretty.

LOL I am glad that I am not the only one who isn't sure.

 

I am wondering if, like Helly Welly says, it reflects the light and is really good at keeping whatever is under it cool. If this is so this will be perfect for the guineas because they really can't stand the heat.

I would say you are correct, silver side outwards in summer to keep things cool and maybe inwards in winter to reflect heat back in

Ohhhh I hadn't thought about the doing it the other way round thing to keep heat in. Perfect, that would be fab for the guineas.
