AJuff
I saw a beautiful crotchet pattern for a small cardigan. I have at last taken the plunge and have attempted a crotchet pattern for the first time. I'm making it to go with a green flowery top I bought which needs a cardi. I've done six rows now and all is going well. The sides are straight and I haven't got to the tricky bits yet!!! There's a lady in my Stitch and "Ooops, word censored!" group who is a whizz at crotchet so she'll be there to help and support if need be. I feel so pleased with myself so far as it's like it's written in double dutch!!! Watch this space!!!
Plum
Good luck with it. My crochet is like my knitting - double the size intended. Will need pics.
AJuff
Sorry if I've offended anyone with the b word! I'm still working on the tension in my crotcheting. It's hard as the hook is small and the cotton 4 ply very thin!!
Plum
Naughty girl. Did you have to go to the naughty step. My friend goes to a sewing group with the same name, it always makes me giggle.

AJuff
I'll show you a photo update when I get a minute!!!! A bit busy at work at the moment and home life is carefully balanced. I was on choir chaperone duty tonight so i just sat and crotcheted while the girls choir sang! Lovely, very relaxing.

I was on choir chaperone duty tonight so i just sat and crotcheted while the girls choir sang! Lovely, very relaxing. I keep a little tote bag now with either my knitting or crochet in it. In the past I would have sat and been really antsy at the doctors, or watching the kids have a swimming lesson. Now I just get out my wool and get upset when they call me early! Loving those hexagons too peeps.... an excuse for another baby blanket project, methinks! Gotta make up my crocheted bag first though. Mebbe I'll get that finished this week, then I'll be down to only four knitting/crochet works in progress! xx
