I have to take Eric to the vet for 8.50am He's having the Poor little man's hungry and I can't give him his breakfast. Oh well, when he comes home with his lampshade on, I'll have a few treats waiting for him. I hope he'll be ok, I must confess to being a little anxious. Space Chick
Hope Eric will be OK Its hard when you have to take the little uns to the vets. It'll be for his own good in the long term. I never had Henry done, and there have been times when I wish I had eg. when he met his "girlfriend" Roxy the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel temptress
Chickvic
Morning all Hope your Grandad is ok Debs and the op goes well! Valkyrie
Morning all. Interesting fact there Debs - I call the little ones The Peeps - mainly because that's how they sounded (going through the honking stage now). Hope little dawgy is soon snippered and home and recovering - he'll be fine. I think it is humans that seem to suffer more (harrrrr sweet revenge - compares very little with childbirth though!) Don't worry about your Grampsie - cataract ops are easy peasy. Mum's had both done (she gets sleep apnea and was worried during the op, lying on her back she would start spluttering) but she found it wasn't as bad as she thought - and her eyesight is really good now. The glaucoma lasering was a different story - she didn't like that much. She said after the cataracts - "everything is so bright" - and it's all done very quickly too. I drew a parrot on card and gave it to her when we went to pick her up - and a makeshift pirate hat. The nurses told me off - and then laughed! clootie
Eric deposited at the vet. I feel rotten. Dropped in to Tesco on the way home and stocked up on doggy treats - guilty conscience perhaps?
Chickvic
Awww he'll be fine Clootie, I'm exactly the same. I've had 3 cats done (male so easier op) but I feel really guilty leaving them there and it's such a relief to go and fetch them. I really fussed over them when they got back

Sheilaz
I expect it's been TLC for Eric since she collected him. Debs, I'm delighted that today went well for Grandad, that's marvellous. Mmm, I love apple pie, but with cream or custard (or both). Someone else can have my icecream. We're off to the Game Fair tomorrow, we go every year. Omlet have a stand there for the first time, will go and have a look. I hope all is well Clootie.
