How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

My lovely new lawn is sprouting little mushrooms everywhere . Is that a sign of anything bad ... or good? I'm just mowing them along with the grass but wonder why they've suddenly started appearing (and where from ?)

We had mushrooms in new grass... I blamed it on the old Hemcore from the run that I had put beneath the new turf as a fertilizer...

 

Perhaps I was wrong!

 

They disapeared after a few weeks though!

Oooo fairy rings - a sign of good luck & magic! Just don't go turning them into soup, or you might be away with the fairies!

We have lots of them in our lawn as well at the moment.

If they are fairy ring mushrooms

 

 

you can eat them when they are young (older they just get too chewy)

Have been told that they're prolific this year due to weather. If you want to get rid you should apparantly knock off the top, and then put a tiny dab of washing liquid on the top of the stalk to kill it properly. Haven't tried myself because i can't be bothered - but that's what our lawn guy says... Just knocking the tops off by mowing doesn't help. They grow back almost immediately.

Am sure its the damp weather I use to go mushroom picking as a child and we had to get up really early when it was dewy to find them...it was very au naturelle and all I can remember is if we didnt eat them straight away creatures use to appear out of them after a couple of days(extra protein) indie

It isn't the chickens, it's the fairies, everyone knows that! They're the front doors to their houses (grass fairies, obviously, not the flower fairies).
