I'm debating whether to buy an incubator. There seems such a wide range on offer and at such a variety of prices. I'm not really fussed whether it's manual or automatic but if any of you have some suggestions for a make you've found to be easy to use and monitor I'd love to hear about them.

I guess they all have their pros and cons.

Brinsea and R-Com's are really good.

We're using a Covatutto 24 Auto at school and it seems to have been good so far

I have just used a r-com suro for the first time and apart from a mistake on my part of turning it has been excellent. It has an automatic pump for humidity which never went any more than 1% either way from what i set it and also the temp has an alarm that you can set i set it to 1 degree and it never went more than this. It is also alot cheaper than the normal rcom.

We started with the Octagon 10 with the cradle and then progressed to the Octagon 20 - very easy to use and we had excellent results.

I hated my Corti incubator. If I bought another it'd probably by the R-com Suro.

I have a Brinsea Octagon 10 and got on OK with it.

Thanks guys, it's so much easier to make decisions when you know people have had success with their inccy.

I have a cheapo polystyrene one at present, apparently they are good and admittedly it has held temp and humidity rock solid so I am hopeful (either that or the dials are stuck on )

If I had the money though I would go for the RCom Suro
