Harry Potter, did anyone get there today?

Recommended Posts

I'm excited about the jumpy out of the seat bit- I might hit my head on the ceiling :lol:

I went to see "Dracula" once in the early '90s when I was young & foolish, & actually screamed out loud at one bit

The film is on at Keswick next week

The weather forecast isn't great so far for the week, & on Tuesday it is forecast to be vile  & the cinema id showing he film at 2pm every day :!::D

We might just have to take refugue then

Yes, i went on weds for opening night. As a die-hard fan I'd booked seats weeks ago too.

We loved it, lots of laughs & light -hearted moments, but as always just not enough of the book could be squished into two & half hours! Will probably go again, though!

Well we went to see the film last night, we laughed, we enjoyed the suspense in the film. Thought the young actors had matured into good actors, especially Tom Felton, who I thought portrayed his part really well.

But we did leave feeling so sad, such a young life lost. RIP Rob. :(

I saw it last week with my boys in Keswick on a wet Tuesday afternoon.

We liked it- though why do the producers always over-egg the plot? The Burrow doesn't burn down, & Harry doesn't get dragged into the water by the Inferi :?

The cinema we saw it at is a really old one, with a balcony 8) where we sat ( each ticket was £1 dearer sitting up there :lol: ) and we had an interval :shock::shock: which must have been a "proper" one as the word "interval" came up on screen written in Harry Potter style text. The projectionist was really kind & waited until everyone had returned from the toilet before re-starting the film

I enjoyed the film too :D

I did wonder about the burning of the burrow :? i couldnt remember it burning in the book, but I thought it was me :?

why do they insist on changing the films, it also passed off the joining of Remus Lupin and Tonks as a single word :? ,

but I suppose they only have so much time, and have to get in as much as possible and make it make sense.

loved the Weasleys magic shop :D

again from me - RIP Rob :(

We pondered on the burning of The Burrow too, but I thought it made for a really nice spectacular piece of cinema, which I for one enjoyed.

But I would have liked the Lupin/Tonks storyline in there, plus the Bill/Fleur one, especially Bills mauling at the hands of Greyback.

A MUCH bigger fight scene was needed, & Dumbledores funeral was omitted too, but I guess they may pop that in at the start of the next movie?
