So excited. My dad dropped off the panels he's made for our WIR so far. He's coming to put them together and buy the roof within the next week, then off to Cotswolds Chickens to get our four chooks!!!

 

Will post lots of pics when it's done and when they come!!!

 

 

it's sooo exciting isn't it, don't feel at all ready though!

yeah.. good old dad. our job is to paint it with cuprinol, not easy to paint the wood under the wire. he's calling later to arrange the day and time he's going to screw it all together and put the roof up. then we just need to get sand (for the run), feed, bedding, mite stuff, feeders/drinkers ... the list goes on..... THEN CHICKENS!!!!!

Update:

 

dad came today to put the run up. looks soooo much bigger than we thought, even though it's not that big. He also brought round some nest boxes he'd made which look very cosy. he's coming back again to put the rest of the waterproof netting stuff on the top half,put the roof on and make another pop-hole quite soon. Then off to get the chooks!!!
