hello,

i am considering buying a new cube if i sell my 2 green eglus. i have had green and purple before, so i'm looking for a different colour. i quite fancy pink or orange, the other half likes the blue.

which colours are the most fade resistant? i found that purple is prone to minor sun bleaching.

hmmm I only have the green myself butI had an orange eglu before that, I didn't notice any problems with the orange eglu.

I've got a blue eglu and haven't noticed any fading...although I haven't noticed any sun either

i think that orange is going to be to best compromise between me and his lordship. its going to go in the middle of the garden in place of or unused veggie patch! i hope that the orange isn't too violent!!!

Neither my green or orange has faded, the orange is lightly harder to keep clean though .

My green cube is quite faded now, it is a couple of years old so i suppose it is to be expected, I only really notice when comparing the unfaded inside with the outside. The purple eglu at 14 months still looks like new. I find the green shows the marks more and is harder to get clean.

My orange and purple are fine, but the pink rablu (I know not my choice of colour but it was cheap!) has faded and marked badly.

My green eglu has faded a lot on top, but less so down the sides-It's quite noticeable when you take the eggport door off, as you can see the colour difference between the inside and outside.

My red eglu is fine 2 years in, but it is not in full sun that much.

Too late then - but the pink fades more than any of the others. A much nicer pink when it is faded though
