Hi all,

 

I can't seem to get hold of any marbles at the moment

 

 

But i did buy a spongebob fish tank a while ago but ended up melting it (left it next to a radiator over-night)

 

Well it came with some small 0range & White stones/pebbles (can get pics of size if needed) Could i use those if i can't get hold of any marbles?

 

 

I don't think Serama chicks could swallow them as i've read that they need chick crumbs crushing up

 

If not, I'll pop over our local shop in a bit and ask if they sell any lol

Have a look in the entertainer for some marbles, or on ebay

Assuming you want marbles for their water dish how about using decorative glass beads? I used those although quickly went out and bought a drinker suitable for chicks like this one http://www.flytesofancy.co.uk/chickenhouses/Economy_Drinkers___Feeders.html

i also managed to find a chick feeder in my local farm supply shop. you could use the lid off a jar of coffee as this is quite shallow although you'd have to fill it regularly.

The shop over the road doesn't sell any

 

I do have a chick drinker (smallest i could find) but apparently (my cousin told me) it would be a little too big for Seramas

 

Oh and Teri, I used to live in Cannock, have loads of family there (and loads in Germany lol)

Use a jam jar lid for tiny seramas, works perfectly!
