alij
Do be honest I've only assumed they are Gold Laced Orps through looking through a book!!! They are 14 weeks old and my hubby collected them when he collected my Transylvanian Naked Neck chicks and the guy let him have them as they were the last 2 left. Being novices to this chicken keeping business he felt too silly to ask what they were!!! We are picking up 2 Araucana from him in a couple of weeks time so I'll ask then. They are totally unfazed by anything and eat for England!! !
Falkor
Tom, remember that Orps are slow to develop....my splash Orp had no black/grey on her at 10 weeks and Jubilee was plain brown and now SO pretty with brown, white and black markings...the feathering takes a while to come out. alij
Hi Chicken Licken They are lovely girls aren't they and incredibly friendly. They came from Jay's at Archies Little Gems in Buckden, St Neots. He is keeping some Araucanas for me for when my Eglu comes. I've also got 3 Transylvanian Naked Necks from him, which I'm trying to get a decent photo of
