4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Well i candled the eggs today and i saw veins in 4/6 of them

 

I'm not sure about the other 2 though, I'm not sure if i saw very feint veins or just a trick of the eye

 

What should i do?

 

Leave them till they have been in the bator for 10 days, then candle?

 

 

They went in July 30th

Leave them in, unless you could see a definite blood ring. By ten days you'll see a little baked bean wriggling inside

Yep, leave them for a few more days and see if anything happens.

 

4/6 is still good - thats what we had

My 10 yr old nephew was really eggcited (rang up his mum to tell her lol)

 

They have been in the bator a week already (well 6 days as i counted the first day as day 0)

 

I'm surprised at how patient i'm being

 

13-14 days to go

 

 

EDIT: Candled them about 20 mins ago when i went to turn them (read that if they go off they explode so didn't want to risk it ) and saw veins in all 6 of em

that is definatley true! they POP really easily ...and boy do they stink

so pleased you have 6 little fertile eggs...it is really exciting...but well worth the wait.

my chicks two days early when i was out all day at work. my hubby found them with my son which is just typical!

i did get to see the last one hatch as it was polling day and the school was closed so the kids got to watch as well
