Potatoes in sacks

Recommended Posts

I will have a lot of potatoes (the veg incase anyone is called Potato on forum!) and now have some sacks to put them in. now a couple of questions as I'm a bit dippy at times

1 i will dry spuds out - but do I tie tops to prevent them going green?

2 they are hessian sacks not paper

3 i will put them in shed and hope any mice dont get in there but will put cat in to patrol in case.

any other tips gratefully received - thanks guys

paper sacks are the best

leave the spuds to dry in the sun for an hour or two then dust them off put the good ones in one bag the spiked and damaged ones in the fride to use first

I personally wash mine first then as above epesally if you've got blight lifted ten trays on sunday thourght i slung all the blighted ones found about ten more as i washed them all big ones to
