Cinnamon
Ferris Buellers Day Off is my all time Favourite Film. One of mine too - sad news 'The Breakfast Club' is a classic too, in fact he did so much great stuff - 'Pretty in Pink', 'Home Alone', 'Uncle Buck'...........................59 is no age, is it? Ferris Bueller is a creation of a comic genius, IMHO, & I am very sad about this news....
Egluntyne
Sad news. My children loved the Home Alone films.
chelsea
Uncle Buck is a great film. Also he directed one of my all time favourites - Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Apparently he left tinseltown some years ago and retreated back to a quiet ranch in Illinois. I agree it's no age to die.
chelsea
I didn't realise he directed another two of my favourites also - Some kind of Wonderful and National Lampoons Vacation.
