CluckyBucks
This is Rogina. Origionally thought to be a cockeral (Rodger) by me, until she layed an egg. Rogina was found by the RSPCA in a crack house attic, she had never seen or touched grass before, until i took her home. She has gone through her 'hennopause' and is living a happy, eggless, life. Every single night, without fail, she asks to come into the house so she can sleep in a cage in my room. Before we got the eglu, she used to stand by the backdoor until somebody let her in. And every morning, she clucks to be taken outside. This cylcle has been going on for three years now and i dont mind She has lived with me as a single hen for the past three years until i decided to get her some friends and an eglu... (she has yoghurt all over her face) This is Honey, a very greedy and silly Silkie. She is second in command (Rogina is boss, despite being the smallest) and she has a tendancy to steal treats. I got Honey from a local farm and she lays an egg every day, apart from when she is broody... This is Biscuit, the youngest of the three. Biscuit was bought from the same farm as Honey and hasn't started laying yet. She over reacts to everything (e.g, thinking a large stone in the run was a bomb) and is partial to the odd mealworm or six. These girls are not only my chickens, they are my entertainers, my compost bins and most importantly, my best freinds.
